New Plymouth has again seen the greatest total gain though – over $51m from profit making sales in Q2 2017. The median loss per sale in Whanganui is relatively low at $15k, however with a greater volume of these sales occurring the total loss here exceeded half a million dollars in Q2 2017. The difference in median loss between Hastings and Napier is interesting considering the close proximity of the cities and the fact it was reversed from the prior quarter (last quarter the median loss in Napier was $65k).
