33 Values have remained flat in Auckland, a trend that started late last year. The annual growth rate of 7.2% is the lowest since September 2012. The slowdown has been most evident in the central parts of the city where annual growth has dropped to between 6% - 7%. The southern parts of the city are now also showing increased signs of weakness, with Papakura dropping 1.8% in the past three months and Franklin’s quarterly growth dropping to 0% for the first time in almost three years. Falling demand and sales will likely see this weakness continue for several more months at least.
